Vlog Transcript:
Hi everybody, this is Ritu Soni Srivastava and today, I’m starting off my video blog series on How to speak more confidently in public.
I was sitting with my daughter the other day, coaching her on public speaking and I realised that some of the tips that I was working with her on, could be pretty useful for other people as well. So here goes.

One of the first things about an effective speaker is eye-contact. Very important. And one of the simplest ways of incorporating that into your speech is to pick three people in the audience, one on this side, one in the middle and one towards the side. And maintain eye-contact with them continuously.
Kind of rotate through your speech pattern, so look at one, then look at the other and look at the third. And that will make sure that you’re addressing the entire room as you go along. I hope that works for you so tune in or more tips on my vlog series soon.
